This Note reviews four safety analyses submitted for the purpose of estimating planning zones for the Shoreham nuclear reactor located in Suffolk County, New York. The analyses are assessed in terms of both how and why they differ in their database and their assumptions regarding nuclear reactor design; in their supporting computer models; and in the threshold dose criteria they employ.
