In October 1984, the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) requested its RAND/UCLA Center for Health Care Financing Policy to convene a meeting of researchers and principal users of health expenditure accounting data to examine the format and content of HCFA's annual article in Health Care Financing Review on national health expenditures. This Note, which originally appeared in Health Care Financing Review, v. 7, no. 4, Summer 1986, summarizes the conference proceedings.
This publication is part of the RAND note series. The note was a product of RAND from 1979 to 1993 that reported miscellaneous outputs of sponsored research for general distribution.
