A discussion of a cooperative anticollision system for aircraft which transmits, to mutually equipped aircraft, data on the presence, position, and course of the other, and the closing or opening of the distance between the aircraft. This system may be used as an interim device until research can derive a better method for avoiding airplane accidents and the constant level of near misses.
