Relativistic self-consistent solutions for atoms of large atomic number

Relativistic self-consistent solutions, without exchange, for several atoms of large atomic number obtained by use of a general program for a high-speed computing machine. This program and the self-consistent calculation are described. Eigenvalues are presented for the individual electron subshells of the self-consistent mercury, tungsten, platinum, and uranium atoms, and a comparison of the calculation with previous results for the mercury atom is included.
