A study of the reenlistment of airmen trained as electronic specialists, based on data from the Personnel Research Laboratory, Lackland AFB. A mathematical model is used to show that the reenlistment rate is sensitive to differences in estimated potential civilian earnings among airmen. An elasticity of supply of first-term airmen with respect to annual Air Force remuneration equal to about four is implied.
