To improve the policymaking process concerning Amsterdam's Schiphol International Airport, the province of North Holland wants a better view of the current capacity of competing airports in terms of passenger and freign movement, declared runway and peak hour capacity, expansion plans, and bottlenecks. This report inventories and analyzes capacity figures of eight northwestern European airports in the period 1980-98.
