Facilitating the implementation of research findings : a summary report

This report contains the findings of a study that was performed to identify the factors affecting implementation of research results, to delineate strategies that are expected to promote this implementation, and to recommend research to test the more viable strategies for putting transportation research results into practice. The report describes the research and provides recommendations to help state highway and transportation agencies and other highway organizations pursue more effective implementation of research results.
