An analysis showing detailed construction requirements per ton of annual ingot capacity in integrated steel plants. For each component of a mill, cost estimates are determined in terms of materials, man-hours, and 1953 dollars. The study assumes that existing steel-mill equipment is reproduced and that no new capacity is optimally added under current conditions.
