A study of the problems of satellite re-entry, with emphasis on the requirements for a recoverable satellite. Location of the impact point (rather than re-entry heating) seems the most difficult aspect of a recovery program but can be accomplished by radio tracking and ultimate recovery by means of a radio beacon.
