A description of and commentary on a comparative study, made by the Stanford Research Institute, which attempts to abtain ruble-dollar price ratios for construction. The ratios are surprisingly low, and reasons are given why they are probably too low. Additional studies to check these ratios, and an alternative approach to the problem of comparison, are suggested.
