Frederick S. Pardee

ResearchPublished 1961

An outline of the basic requirements of an integrated financial information system tailored to meet the needs of Air Force planners and programmers. The study suggests that such a system should include a capability to prepare and present summary force-structure costs showing cradle-to-grave implications, a series of cost-sensitivity curves for each weapon system, descriptive data sufficient to make sensitivity studies and force-mix analyses meaningful, a carefully designed data-accumulation procedure, an estimating research activity, and a status-review capability. 52 pp
