A discussion of the problem of determining the relation between the critical size of homogeneous slab and spherical reactors and neutron production. It is assumed that the energy of neutrons is constant. The Memorandum derives equations for the slab with anisotropic scattering and studies the solution of these equations for isotropic scattering.
