A Simulation for Sensitivity Testing of Various Parameters Involved in Apollo Flights.

A description of a digital computer simulation model of the Apollo inflight mission. The model is based on a phase-by-phase operational concept in which the mission is continued normally, modified, or aborted at each phase. This simulation should prove useful for examining the sensitivity of the anticipated Apollo mission success for such planning and design factors as number and capability of back-up nodes, availability of redundant or space elements, and checkout capability. Estimates or ranges of these factors are used as input data. Also included are the FORTRAN simulation program, and descriptions and summaries of a number of runs made with the simulation. 68 pp. Bibliog
