A preliminary investigation of transport-branching processes.

A probabilistic discussion of one-dimensional multi-type neutron transport processes. The invariant imbedding technique is applied to the generating functions of the emitted neutrons. A system of simultaneous partial differential equations for the expected reflected flux follows from thes differential equations.
