Presentation of a physical-optics solution for the backscattering from a concave ring singularity. The solution for a convex ring singularity has been known for some time. When taken together, the two solutions provide a simple way for estimating the backscattering from ring singularities of practically every type. Since the radar returns from rings are often dominant, the solutions should have many important applications.
