New results in asymptotic control theory

Richard S. Bucy

ResearchPublished 1965

A consideration of the control problem for n-dimensional linear systems with loss function that is the sum of a quadratic in the control and a function convex in the state. Using a technique due to Riesz, the author resolves the asymptotic control problem in this context by functional analytic techniques.
