TWANG Workshops - State of the Art Methods for Propensity Score Estimation
Members of the TWANG project team occasionally conduct workshops to help those without any experience in propensity scores, as well as more advanced users gain hands-on experience to estimate propensity score weights using boosted models in R, SAS, and Stata.
Topics will be selected from such areas as:
- Theories on causal effect estimation
- Estimation of propensity score weights
- Evaluation of the quality of propensity score weights
- Use of propensity score weights to estimate intervention effects
Some advanced topics will cover how to use propensity score weights when comparing more than two conditions, and how to use them to estimate cumulative effects of time-varying treatments.
