Program

This RAND-USC Schaeffer OPTIC webinar discussed an online expert panel approach for identifying expert views on the effectiveness and implementability of population-level policy interventions. ROMPER—the RAND/USC OPTIC Method for Policy Expert Ratings—involves an online modified-Delphi process. Experts rate and comment on policies, their ratings and comments are analyzed to identify consensus, and actionable information is produced for decisionmakers in Policy Profiles summarizing expert reviews. Attendees learned how to implement ROMPER protocols, materials, and code—all of which are openly available on the Open Science Framework with Creative Commons licensing for replication and reuse.

A recording of the webinar will be available on the OPTIC multimedia page. This webinar is not eligible for CME credit.
