The purpose of this chapter is to explore answers to questions that are not standard components of evaluation processes and yet are often of concern to evaluation consultants and to stakeholders. The authors present examples from three related approaches to evaluation that endeavor to achieve the goals of program improvement, understanding lived experience, and social justice.
