A discussion of the role of the communications and control system in Air Force logistics as one of the tools available to Air Force management in attaining its goals for future weapon systems. The operational setting within which communications and control systems must be developed is examined. The present status and future outlook of these systems are presented, and the use of simulation is described as a research tool for studying communications and control systems.
