A list of about 300 references on nuclear-powered ships, extracted from Nuclear Science Abstracts (abstracts are not included). Coverage is selective for 1961-1963 and comprehensive for 1964 through 15 March 1969. The references are arranged chronologically within these subject headings: bibliographies, general, merchant ships, N.S. Savannah, and safety. The references are duplicated under more than one heading in some cases.
This publication is part of the RAND paper series. The paper series was a product of RAND from 1948 to 2003 that captured speeches, memorials, and derivative research, usually prepared on authors' own time and meant to be the scholarly or scientific contribution of individual authors to their professional fields.
