Theory and Applications of Games of Strategy

An elementary mathematical exposition of games of strategy with some applications of the theory to military problems. The concepts and results developed by John von Neumann are described, and extensions of the theory and its applications undertaken at RAND are presented. A knowledge of calculus and algebra is sufficient for understanding this report.
