Roshni Sen

Roshni Sen is an M.Phil. student at the RAND School of Public Policy and an assistant policy researcher at RAND. 

Prior to joining RAND, she worked as a Medicaid advisory services analyst at Mathematica Policy Research, where she provided technical assistance to federal and state stakeholders including CMS, CMCS, and CAHPG. Her work centered on improving T-MSIS data quality, strengthening Medicaid eligibility data collection systems, and identifying evidence-based solutions to complex policy challenges. At Weill Cornell, Sen conducted qualitative and quantitative research that emphasized issues with access to care within underserved communities. Through these experiences, she has become proficient in STATA, SQL, and Excel. 

Her research interests span across health policy, focusing on population health sciences, patient-centered outcomes research, women's healthcare, social determinants of health, telehealth, and health equity. 

Sen earned her M.S. in health policy and economics from Weill Cornell Medicine and her B.S.A. in neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin.
