RAND Headquarters Campus

RAND Headquarters Campus, Santa Monica, CA

RAND is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization that helps improve policy and decisionmaking through research and analysis. RAND focuses on the issues that matter most, such as health, education, national security, international affairs, emerging technologies, and the economy. For more information, see our About Us page, our How We're Funded page, our leadership, or our history.

RAND reports are available for free at rand.org, and you are welcome to cite this research in news articles. You can search by title, author, research category, or document number. We also encourage you to subscribe to our Policy Currents newsletter, listen to our Policy Minded podcast, and follow us on all major social media channels. (See links in our site footer below.)

Please reach out to media@rand.org for assistance finding an appropriate expert or to arrange an interview.

We can accommodate camera crews at RAND offices with at least three business days of advanced notice. Depending on location and availability, our researchers may also be available to travel to nearby TV studios and can conduct interviews remotely via Zoom or Teams.

Journalists may cite or link to RAND research and data in news articles without permission. When linking to RAND documents, please use the HTML product page rather than the PDF associated with it.

Permission is required to reproduce, or reuse in another form, RAND's copyrighted materials. For more information, including how to request RAND photos, please see our permissions page.

We have our own multimedia site with videos and podcasts you can link to, as well as a YouTube channel, which allows you to embed our videos in your site.

We try to accommodate student journalists where we can, but researchers may not always be available due to time constraints.

RAND only publishes work by RAND researchers. We do not accept outside submissions or guest posts.
