An Alert Shelter for the B-58

This report assesses the feasibility of building nuclear-hardened aircraft alert shelters for B-52 and B-58 bombers. Shelters are designed to withstand 200 psi blast overpressure, ground shock, and radiation. Shelters are heated and lighted and have sufficient space to conduct maintenance and house crew quarters.
