Hannah Behrendt is chief behavioural scientist at RAND Europe. She has over 10 years of experience leading behavioural science research, working with a range of private and public sector clients to deliver research projects that improve people's health and wellbeing. Behrendt combines in-depth knowledge of health policy and evaluation with deep expertise in behavioural science. Before joining RAND Europe, Behrendt was Director of Health at the Behavioural Insights Team, working on a range of different policy challenges within public health and healthcare service improvement. She also spent several years at the World Bank, working on environmental economics and contributing to the World Development Report on 'Mind and Society'. Behrendt holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Edinburgh, as well as an M.Phil. in economics and a B.A. (Hons) in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Oxford.
