Jessie Coe (she/her) is an associate economist at RAND and a professor of policy analysis at Pardee RAND Graduate School. She is an econometrician with specializations in panel data methods, GMM, and missing data methods, as well as interests in program evaluation, partial identification, and invalid instruments. She is substantively interested in improving outcomes for disadvantaged populations, with a particular interest in the evaluation of social assistance programs and the outcomes of low-income families with young children. She completed her Ph.D. in economics at the University of Texas in 2019, capping a long education which began in pure mathematics at Pomona College.
