Beth Grill

Senior Policy Researcher, RAND; Professor of Policy Analysis, RAND School of Public Policy

Beth Grill is a Senior Policy Researcher with over twenty years of experience conducting national security policy research. She has led a series of research studies on collaborating with allies and partners to enhance U.S. operational readiness, burden-sharing, medical operations in denied environments, and global health engagement for the Department of the Air Force, United States Navy, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and the Combatant Commands. Beth is the author of over 100 publications. Her most recent work addresses the topics of ally and partner support for agile combat employment, the will to fight and will to resist, and space and cyber security cooperation.

Beth has a master’s degree in Middle East studies and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She served as a Presidential Management Fellow and as a policy analyst at the US Department of Commerce, where she concentrated on export controls of chemical and biological weapons precursors.
