Overview

Zohan Tariq is a Ph.D. student in the Technology Applications and Implications stream at Pardee RAND Graduate School and an assistant policy researcher at RAND. He has a B.E. in chemical engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology in Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include climate change, energy security, supply chains, truth decay, regional dynamics in South and Central Asia, great power competition, and the impact of emerging technologies on commerce, society and conflict.

Prior to joining Pardee RAND, he worked as an operations engineer at one of Pakistan's largest urea fertilizer manufacturers, where he managed production and related operational activities as a designated shift engineer.
