RAND, Japan House Los Angeles, and Japan's Consulate General of Los Angeles hosted an event to explore such questions as "How do American and Japanese experts assess their countries' free and open Indo-Pacific strategies?" "How are regional states pursuing their own strategic engagement?" and "How might the situation evolve moving forward?" This conference gathered U.S. and Japanese specialists along with representatives of other countries.
