This is a preliminary report on a runway crater repair demonstration that was held December 15-16, 1964, at Eglin Air Force Base. The demonstration used limestone screenings to fill the top 2 feet (approximately) of the bomb crater and AM-2 aluminum matting to cover the filled crater. Time to complete repairs and other details are provided.
