This report analyzes the probability that an air base would be closed by tactical ballistic missile attack if key air base systems were defended by Anti-Tactical Ballistic Missile (ATBM) systems. The project was sponsored by the U.S. Army's Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans and the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition (Tactical Warfare Programs).
