Candice Miller is a senior data scientist at RAND, working primarily in the area of military logistics. She provides data programming, analysis, modeling, and optimization using statistical and data software tools such as SAS, Python, and SQL. She has developed methodologies to simulate performance, calculate metrics, model inventory flow, and improve data quality. She has extensive experience with a variety of military databases across various business domains (ex. logistics, acquisition, finance/contracts, health/medical, and personnel) and for various clients within the Army, Air Force, Navy, NASA, and Coast Guard. Outside of defense, she has worked on disaster recovery FEMA projects and CDC health projects.
