Overview

Pauline Paillé is a research assistant at RAND Europe, working in the area of defence and security. Her research experience spans a range of defence and security issues including counterterrorism; hybrid warfare; violent extremism; deterrence; international security, climate change and the impact of emerging technologies.

Prior to joining RAND, she conducted research for various organisations such as the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the Hudson Institute on a wide range of international security issues. She also worked as analyst for the French Ministry of Defence and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She holds a M.A. in international politics from Sciences Po Bordeaux and attended both the University of California at Berkeley and Laval University as part of her multidisciplinary studies.
