Charlie Coyte is a Senior Analyst at RAND Europe working on evaluation and research projects in research and innovation systems. Her evaluation work includes projects for Research England on their Strategic Institutional Research Funding programme and for UK Research and Innovation on their Future Leaders Fellowship scheme. In her research, she has experience of applying a range of quantitative and qualitative approaches and methodologies including scenario modelling, econometric inferential statistics and impact assessment, survey development and analysis, literature reviews, facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews and thematic analysis. Prior to joining RAND Europe, Charlie worked at the Royal Academy of Engineering where she led the organisation’s Analysis and Insights function and established its monitoring and evaluation system. She has held research and higher education policy roles in various non-profit, higher education, and commercial organisations.
