Overview

Susannah Faxon-Mills (she/her) is a senior policy analyst at the RAND Corporation. She has expertise in education policy, implementation and developmental evaluation, and qualitative methods and analysis. Her work explores how local educational systems, communities, and intermediary organizations collaborate to develop and implement high-quality programs for youth. Current research topics include social and emotional learning and out-of-school time programs and intermediaries.

Prior to joining RAND, she worked in the nonprofit sector with a focus on prevention education and youth development. She received her M.A. in policy, organization, and leadership studies from Stanford University's School of Education and her B.A. in community studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
