RAND Research on Civilian Workforce Issues

This document provides an overview of RAND Project AIR FORCE research conducted between 2012 and 2024 on the civilian workforce. RAND research on civilian workforce issues for the Department of the Air Force, as well as for other military departments, has addressed many topics, including workforce requirements, workforce management, recruiting and hiring, training and development, advancement and retention, and compensation and benefits.
