The RAND Costs of Conflict study by a team of RAND researchers estimates the net costs and benefits of five alternative trajectories — a two-state solution, coordinated unilateral withdrawal, uncoordinated unilateral withdrawal, nonviolent resistance, and violent uprising — for the current Israeli-Palestinian impasse. The intent is to give all parties comprehensive, reliable information about available options and their expected costs and consequences.

With this interactive calculator, the user may explore how modifying key assumptions from the RAND Costs of Conflict study affects direct costs, opportunity costs, and total change in gross domestic product (GDP).
